Just finished watching Aiba's part of 24hr Television, a programme in which stars host this show for 24hrs, reaching out to the public to raise awareness for people who are not as fortunate in terms of disabilities. Aiba's part was to help this disabled boy fulfill his childhood dream of swimming with dolphins in the wild. I was really touching, with Aiba helping the boy with many difficulties such as the boy's fear of swimming face down and swimming in the ocean. Previously, the boy had only tried swimming backstroke in a swimming pool, which was already a great feat for him, seeing his legs were part of his disabilities. What i noticed was really how the boy looked really happy when he saw the dolphins and he even exclaimed that he was the dolphin's eyes! This coupled with the blue ocean and smooth-and-cute looking dolphins, made me feel really happy. You see, it is sometimes helping others that you realise the joys in life. We might not know that we are very lucky to have something others don't. But it is through seeing how others are content with what they have and are easily satisfied with the little things more they get that we feel we are really lucky.

Take me for example. If i had known I had muscular disease like the boy that would affect my limbs, would I still be as happy as i am now? Maybe not.

Therefore, just watching the boy on tv having his wish fulfilled, I feel fortunate with what I have, just like how the boy lives a happy life despite his disabilities.

HENCE! I TOO WANT TO SWIM WITH THE DOLPHINS!

I finally understand why others use blogs. I would too, but it won't be right here for you to read. I've got so many things i want to say. But just, not here.

Though you have already accepted my apology,

I guess we will never be the same again.

I always thought i knew who you were, I thought i understood you. Maybe it was just superficially. Sometimes i question whether what i did was really what you might have liked. Durian ice blended,the flea market, 2AM, Yigloo, dragging you around with me when shopping. Maybe you just didn't say that you disliked it. (Maybe you just forced it down all the same. Seeing by how you wanted to throw it away unfinished) Sometimes i wonder if what you are saying is really what you really think. Or were you just saying it to make or keep me happy.

I keep replaying yesterday's scene over and over in my mind. It is like I don't understand why you walked off. I don't understand where I did wrong. When all i did was to point out what i saw and not drag us all there. I didn't even intend to do that. Not after how you reacted the first time. If you really don't like it, just tell it to me straight in the face that you don't. Tell me straight what the boundaries are. At least I won't feel as lost as I am now. Maybe I will understand it someday. Maybe I don't even know who the real you is.

Maybe to you I am just like a clown. For you to laugh at. For your own amusement. Since I am always fooling around and being happy. I mean, I am such a joke, right? This stupid little girl going crazy all the time, spouting rubbish. She sure is funny! Maybe i should hang around her to get more laughs. But I am not always like that. Especially now. It is exactly at such a time like this that I feel all this is such an act. Just an act to make people around me like me. But I really want to be happy. Day in Day out. Thank you for being the cause of me feeling this sad in years. Really. I don't even register feeling this way before. It like i fell into my own little state of depression, just not that bad.

I don't feel like laughing anymore. I don't feel like singing and dancing. I don't listen to the same favourite songs. The day doesn't even feel bright and all i feel like doing is sleeping and at least get the day over and done with. It is like a dream. A nightmare i desperately want to wake up from. I am sorry but i can't help but feel this way. After all, i really treated you like I would treat any of my best friends I treasured. I really loved you as my friend.

And no, I am not crying. I've just got sand in my eyes.

Starving - Day 4

YAY! TODAY I WENT OUT WITH CHARISSA TO HAVOC! YESTERDAY I WENT OUT WITH NEAL TO FROYO!

Yesterday, after homemaking and culinary, i went to watch the rugby match against RIJC and concluded that rugby is a scary sport. After 10 minutes of watching, I left to meet Neal at Vivo (my favourite hangout for now)

Doesn't our Froyo look good?! HAHA WE MASTERED THE ART OF SPAMMING TOPPING! MUAHAHA WE GOT OUR MONIES WORTH!

Then, today, me and Charissa went to check out sweets and then eat the free Froyo we got with the 6 stamps from buying one too many Froyos.

Hence we (actually mainly me) spammed topping again!

HAHAHA I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YIGLOO!!! Below are pictures of us (actually mainly me) eating our FROYO! (minus us). Halfway, I remembered the oreo in my bag and decided to take them out to put on top of our froyo to eat. :)

And Soon it was all gone! (finished mainly by me!)

Then when we went out it was raining like mad (fortunately our way home was sheltered)

Starving - Day 2

20th April 2010. Starving Day 2. Felt super insulted.

Finally! My PI is approved! Now to set off to work to complete the template. Today wasn't a really eventful day. Had school, came home, sleep. On the way home, i went with Charissa to the toilet at the MRT and i waited outside the cubicles while she was inside. I looked at the broken tap. I saw a woman try to pull it up but the water didn't stop flowing. I felt like trying to pull it up but I did not feel as if I wanted to move. I just wanted to stay there. Stationary.

It was then that the woman standing behind me asked me if i was from ITE. Does she not know that my school is nearby? Is she that oblivious? Does she underestimate me? Its not that ITE people are stupid or something. Sometimes people just don't study. Maybe its the first time that woman is in that area. I don't know...

Wonder what happened to Neal. Not on MSN, not answering phone. Maybe she's busy with her PI. What am i still doing on blogger? Ahhh maybe later.

Found a new way to save money. Spend $1.95 on Oreos, then bring two packets to school everyday. This can last me 6 days. Not too bad. Means i can spend on drinks everyday and save $40 every week. If this works out by next week i can get my camera. Am seriously rethinking the camera thing. What if i don't use it much?

Can hardly wait for tomorrow. Hope Froyo eating is still on. Forgot what i came on to blog about.

Starving - Day 1

I have made it a point to at least try to post at least one post each day. Be it long or short. That is my new "motto" for my blog.

So... today was starving day 1. Well, I guess for a starving day, it was a feast. Busted my allowance already. (Only saving 2/5 of my allowance this week) Why is this off to such a bad start?! I want my camera and i want it NOW! Haha in a way i guess its also good. It gives me more time to think about whether i really want my lomo. At this rate the earliest i am gonna get my lomo is on my birthday. This is bad.

Anyway, about today. We ended at 2:30 but had academic planner at 5:30. Hence, Charissa and me were supposed to go out and eat Froyo and Superdog at Vivo. However, I had PW consultation with Ms Soh at 2:30 and it dragged till 3:30. (It was quite fruitless really. Now i need a new PI draft! Nevermind! I read the newspapers and thought of one already.) Therefore, me and Charissa thought it was too late to go to Vivo. So, we ate at Macdonalds (6pcs nugget student meal) and then to KFC (Me: mashed potato; Charissa: egg tarts that were so small they weren't worth the $1:30) and later to share a bubble tea (durian ice blended, absolutely heavenly. Thanks Siuli and guys). This resulted in me spending $7.45 (GASP!) Hence, (refer above)

Tomorrow's another short day. PI's due next week (die!). Still contemplating if i should run 2.4 tomorrow... Feel kinda lazy! Good news is: TOMORROW IS ANOTHER SHORT DAY! YAY!

(can hardly wait for outing with neal on wed and friday! YAY!)

The last day of school was really fun!
Didn't regret going.
Though everyone around me was crying and i was thinking "am i supposed to cry too?"

It was the last day and we took lots of pictures. Ok maybe only a few.
My calculator fell one storey down and killed itself. First time hearing of a calculator committing suicide. Now, i am trying to get used to my new calculator. Quite irritating.

Bought 3 more arashi mags. Seriously, i should really stop but i can't. My savings are already depleted. Hope i get worried for Os soon. Otherwise i won't study! Stuck with maths again. Anyone remember the cosine rule? Oh wait there are only 2 people reading my blog. J and J.

AHHHHH! I SIMPLY CANNOT BELIEVE I MISSED ARASHI'S 10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY YESTERDAY! IT WAS ARASHI DAY! AHHHHH! (yes janeal, its the only thing tragic enough to bring me out of hiatus)

So irritated! What type of fan am I? Well, at least it was on a day where the examinations were not that bad. English (II) and Amaths (I). Bio today was..... satisfying. I filled in everything despite not knowing if the answer was right. Loved section B. Everything i studied( I guess) came out! My arashi download rate is going down. This is bad. What can I do? Its "The Prelims". I am so glad its the "no school day" tomorrow. Now i can have time to emo in a corner and hit myself on my head for being stupid.

Now excuse me while i do just that.

P.S No janeal, I am not stupid. Just because I said i am going to hit myself on my head for being stupid means does not mean I am really stupid. Even then, you are stupider than me.

HAven't posted in a month! I really love this class i am in...I mean class deco done in one and a half hours? WOW! HOwever, there is still a few that just are out to piss me off. I was busy sweeping the floor when Seahorse alerted me to them. REALLY IRRITATING! I was sweeping, then this group of five(?) decided they would position themselves along the area i was sweeping. Even when they saw me sweeping they did not move! How inconsiderate! I am quite sure their mothers didn't bring them up to be roadblocks right? Even roadblocks aren't so lifelike. So why can't they spare a thought for the rest of the class and instead of just standing there talking, WHY NOT HELP THE CLASS DECORATE? Even I was putting in so much effort! They could have totally made themselves useful by cleaning up the class like i was, or at least OFFER TO HELP! Bitches...
Enough of them. JUst thinking about it makes me angry. The rest of the class was lovely! Whale: Song hye Gyo is going out with Hyun Bin!Bet you don't know who he is...

YAY! ON friday, i went with minyee to watch transformers 2: Revenge of the fallen. I had high hopes for this one, having watched the first one many times and loving it. HOwever, it was long and not as good as the first one. Though it was good, the movie lasted from 11:45 to around 2:40. Quite long for a movie. I loved the actions too but there was too many new characters and it led to me being confused who was who. Seems like I should buy the dvd and watch a few more times... Yes. I will do that... Maybe i should have gone to watch dance subaru like my sister did. She said it was nice and touching she cried a few times. The next movie on my list is Yatterman. Hope it comes to Singapore soon, and Sho-chan coming as well to promote the movie. I hope it comes in november after Os. Then i will try and drag Janeal to go with me to watch and find Sho-chan, seeing that she has most experience in stalking stars. Hee hee!

Bought lots of Arashi magazines yesterday. I was practically squealing when i opened them and saw the many sho-chans. Tomorrow i shall bring it to class and get one of those people who learnt japanese to read it for me! Yay! If they refuse to then i shall just try to figure out what was written.Next stop for arashi buying: Kino in around the beginning of July to buy the August issue of _____. HMV with Jacintha to buy whatever Arashi CD/DVD like Iza Now! Yay!

I am so smart! (Yeah right)

Anyway, sorry for being MIA for so long. Time to try and restart blogging...
Hence, i shall dedicate my first post after eons to... My trip to malaysia.

Though there is the O levels and H1N1 thing going on, Chengyi decided to try and go to KL to bring the virus back!

First day, reached there and was getting out of malaysian immigration when the person i happily said hi to at the counter gave me this yellow card for like H1N1... I got a shock (1st Shock)! I thought they wanted me to check into a hospital in KL for the virus and ruin my whole trip! NOOOOoooo!However, my dad said it was nothing and we continued. I feel like so dumb. Then, we were leaving the airport when the people gave each one of us like thing cup with chocolate in it! Wow!( 2nd but nice shock) Reached the hotel and checked in... Glad to find out the toilet had blinds to cover the glass windows, unlike the last time i went to the hotel and got the honeymoon suite and had to bathe facing the wall to protect our modesty. But, there were parts uncovered in the blinds but it worked as i can watch the jap drama my sisters are watching outside while i was bathing and not miss anything. Oh! And we went shopping at times square and bought Lots of jap dramas.Oh! And i got a shock(3rd shock in a day) from this guy who refused to back off giving out some flyers even though me and my sis were ignoring him. Like get the hint man! I don't want the papers you are holding! He gave it to us and then later wanted it back. Like say what?!

Second day(13/6):
Woke up late and chose the option together with my sisters to stay in the cold hotel room and skip breakfast. Ended up eating 2 tiny eggtarts my parents brought back for us for breakfast. Oh well. Better than nothing. For lunch, we ate Madam Kwan's at Pavillion and its nasi lemak was great! YUMMY! Walked and walked and walked until heels hurt but barely bought anything. Then, we went to eat at the Japan club in KL that my mom's friend is a member of. I ate the usual Tempura Udon and was freezing my hands off sitting directly where the air con was blowing. That was seriously dumb man!

Third day(14/6):
Went again to Pavillion and shopped the same old shops. OK maybe not so boring. Bought like
a diary and some handphone dangly thingy. Then, went to Sungei wang as mom wanted to see what was there and the secret level... As we felt that we were not hungry, we ate Krispy Kremes at Berjaya Time Square. Thereafter, we went downstairs and found this place where they were having offers for jeans! Just what i need! I went to try the size 25 but i was too small and i found myself trying my best to button and even get out of it. Seriously, the button didn;t even go halfway! Just proves how much fatter i have become! Maybe my metabolism rate has decreased and now i have to watch what i eat... Just when my sister went to take the size 26 for me, this angmoh took it right in front of her and even gave her a triumphant smile. WTH. It was only after we paid that i found out the two pieces of tiny spandex my mom bought was even more expensive than my 2 pairs of jeans... LAter, we went back to the hotel and continued the cycle of watching jap dramas.

Fourth and last day(15/6):
Today, my sister's friend joann chua brought us to the secret levels of Sungei wang but we found out that the prices have soared. Hence, due to that and my mother's following, we didn't really buy much and left soon. as we had made a reservation at Overseas restaurant again ( including 2 plates of its yummy Siu yok), we rushed there. That's lunch for us... LAter, immediately after lunch, we and my older sister went again to Berjaya times squarte to buy things from etude house and bags. Secretly went to the video shop and got my sister's friend to bring the videos down to Singapore for us when she came. :P Slept throughout the journey to the airport and apparently the taxi took a wierd long and winding way to avoid the tolls and caused us to feel sick.

Conclusion (read this if you are too lazy to read the top): Chengyi went to Malaysia and walked until her legs ached in the shopping centres with lots of haze outside without buying much. She got shocked many times but loved the hotel. Oh well. Better to go to someplace instead of no place.
